The PADI Open Water course at Silent Divers is ฿18,200, including all equipment, eLearning, pool sessions, four ocean dives, and your certification fee. The Advanced Open Water is ฿14,200. Both include hotel transfers and lunch.
Absolutely. The Discover Scuba Diving experience requires no prior certification — a short pool session followed by a guided ocean dive. For full certification, the PADI Open Water course takes 3–4 days and qualifies you to dive anywhere in the world to 18 metres.
Yes — Sail Rock, 50 minutes from Koh Samui by speedboat, has one of the best whale shark encounter rates in Southeast Asia. Peak season runs March through May, with a secondary window in August and September.
The Gulf of Thailand has year-round diving. The calmest conditions with best visibility are January through April. Whale shark season peaks March to May. November is the only month we'd suggest avoiding — the northeast monsoon can make conditions difficult.
