Open Water Diver

This is the most popular diving course around the world as it has allowed millions of people to plunge into the scuba diving life style.

It consists of:

Five knowledge development sessions in which you will learn theoretical concepts about the diving activity and planning.

Five confined water sessions (swimming pool) where you will learn and master the different necessary skills you need to know before diving in open waters.

Four open water dives. We will teach you how to feel safe under water by practicing what you learned and mastered during the confined water sessions which will allow you to dive in a safe and comfortable way.

Once you have completed this course you will receive a certification card with which you can dive with a certified buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters for OWD and Junior OWD between 12-14 years old. 12 meters for Junior OWD between 10-11 years old.

The eLearning integrates the PADI Open Water Diver Manual with the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning Video into a powerful, smartphone/tablet-based learning experience. When you dive in with the eLearning, you will:

Learn diving facts, principles and safety concepts in preparation for your confined and open water dives.
Watch video clips that show you the world of scuba diving.
Take simple quizzes to make sure you understand the material as you progress.

After you download eLearning you don’t need to be online to use it so you can truly learn anytime, anywhere.

About this course:

• Minimum age – 12
• Maximum depth – 18 meters for OWD and Junior OWD between 12-14 years old.
• 12 meters for Junior OWD between 10-11 years old
• Prerequisites – None

You will be required to swim 200m with no aids and to tread water without aids for 10 minutes.
